Back in the day when people actually cared and gave a damn, when rock & roll music meant something and was not just ear candy and we did not want to be like those we loathed and held detest for, April 1st was always a big day for the Youth... International Part aka The Yippies to pull of their anti-establishment pranks and stunts for media attention. I was affiliated with the Yippie party, I've met & spent some time with Jerry, Abbie & many others from the party quite a few times, always interesting events LOL! I think Pete Townshend and Abbie were really on the same side just that during the heat of the moment especially in the rock & roll world even people on the same side can piss each other off - Meet the new boss, same as the old boss - WE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN - not even on April Fools day! ps I'm still a YIPPIE at heart ( : Steal this post - DO IT
